Search the GTA 6 companion map by name

When to use map search versus district filters, and how landmark names relate to real Florida places — not official Rockstar collectibles.

Search versus browse

Map search is for the moment you already have a string: a hotel name from a district page, a marina you saw in a creator’s tour, a civic building you want to re-open. Typing beats panning when the Leonida set is dense.

If you do not know a name yet, start with district filters or a district guide. Searching random rockstar-sounding words will not invent collectibles that are not in the companion dataset.

What the names actually are

Results resolve against the ATLAS landmark set: real Florida addresses and place names plotted under fan region labels. A hit means “this geographic reference exists on the companion,” not “Rockstar confirmed a pickup here.”

District-intent guides on this site (Vice Beach, Ocean Beach, Port Gellhorn, and the rest) list a few of those real places on purpose so search has something honest to aim at. They link to the auto district slug when one exists.

After you find the pin

Open the popup, read the description, mark found if you want it cleared from closest-path. If you came from a creator video, pause before they zoom to a reward and mark your own list first.

If search returns nothing, the place may be outside the dense set, misspelled, or simply not plotted. Check the district directory for nearby regions that already have guides.

The companion indexes landmark geography, not an official mission list. Mission names are not a supported search inventory here.
