Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is set in the state of Leonida, and its official site names six locations there. This guide lists each one with Rockstar's own description, and keeps a clear line between what Rockstar has confirmed and what it has not.

Where GTA 6 is set

Rockstar's story line for the game reads: "Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida."

Rockstar's site has an Only in Leonida section, introduced as "Home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond." It names the six locations below, each with Rockstar's own description.

Vice City

Rockstar: "We're a long way from the '80s, but Vice City is still the sun and fun capital of America."

Grassrivers

Port Gellhorn

Ambrosia

Mount Kalaga National Park

How many GTA 6 locations has Rockstar confirmed?

Six, on the Only in Leonida page: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. Inside Vice City, Rockstar's description also names Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, the Tisha-Wocka flea market and the VC Port.

Has Rockstar released a GTA 6 map?
