How it works

Three steps, under a minute.

  1. 1

    Drop your image

A screenshot from your video, an old thumbnail or a small photo.

  2. 2

    Upscale with AI

We pick 2× or 4× to reach thumbnail size. The AI rebuilds detail instead of just stretching pixels.

  3. 3

    Download at YouTube size

Get it at exactly 1280×720, or the full upscaled PNG.

Now make the thumbnail, in a minute.

Describe your video or copy a format that's already working. Put your face in, score it, fix it.

FAQ

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up and no watermark.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The AI runs in your browser, so your image stays on your device. The first run downloads a small model.

What size should a YouTube thumbnail be?

1280×720 pixels (16:9), under 2MB. 'Download 1280×720' crops to 16:9 and saves a JPEG at exactly that size.

2× or 4×?

Use whichever gets your image to at least 1280 pixels wide. A 640×360 frame needs 2×; anything smaller needs 4×. We pick it for you.

Why is it slow on my phone?

Upscaling is heavy work done on your device. Big images take longer, so on a phone start with smaller ones, or use a laptop.
